I’m so excited you are here! I’m Courtney and I was born and raised in Rhode Island, the cutest little ocean state. For over 18 years I’ve perfected my craft to compliment my guests external beauty and their fierce “I’m ready to take on the day” attitude. Your hair is an extension of your personality; unique in every way. I draw my inspiration for each of my guests from the way the sun kisses your hair or the salt air forms a playful curl, creating an organic and dimensional style meant only for you. My dedication to making a woman feel beautiful has also connected me to the most glamorous event most women will ever attend; their wedding day! Each bride and her tribe are special, why shouldn’t their hair be as well. From romantic and whimsical, to simple and classic, whatever suits your fancy I can assure you I am ready for it. Whether you are relaxing in the salon or giggling with your girls on your wedding day, being a part of those moments is a gift.
When I am not busy behind the chair or on location, I can be found discovering new places with my camera and my sidekick…a little boy who calls me Mama. The summer months are filled with trips to the beach, the local playground and spending time with friends and family during cookouts hosted by my husband and I. In the winter we are true homebodies spending our days snuggled on the couch or in the kitchen cooking up some comfort food. When I’m not running around with my little guy, I can be found practicing self care by setting my weekly intentions at a local barre and yoga studio. For me, that personal time is an oppurtunity for reflection and to give space to ideas and emotions allowing me to see clearly and give me the confidence I strive to enhance not only in myself but also my guests.
